The first "Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Water Application Scenario Experimental Zone" held by "AI+Marine Science and Technology Innovation Center" was unveiled at "AI Empowers Ocean" Smart Ship Innovation Forum on July 10 during 2021 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. It also works as the experience area of AI water application scenarios for 2021 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. SEETRUM was invited to participate in the exhibition in the experience zone.
"AI+Marine Science and Technology Innovation Center" was released as the first "AI+Marine" science and technology service platform in China at the 2020 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. It is under the strategic cooperation framework of Shanghai Zhangjiang (Group) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute (SDARI) and jointly operated by SDARI, Zhangjiang Group and Shanghai Jushu Ocean. The pilot area, based on scenarios such as smart water, smart ocean, and smart ships, focuses on technologies like AI, 5G, big data, unmanned driving, collision avoidance, remote control, cluster collaboration, edge computing and provide joint debugging and testing, demonstration and interaction service for science and technology projects.
In the demostration, SEETRUM exhibited a spectral water quality online monitoring program that is based on hyperspectral imaging technology to achieve real-time online monitoring of multiple water quality parameters. With the help of AI big data, the program could provide multi-dimensional displays such as smart large screens and mobile apps and it can cooperate with unmanned ships, unmanned aerial vehicles to monitor the target water body in an all-round way.
