On October 12, 2021, Lin Jianhua (Member of the Party Leadership Group of the People’s Government and Deputy Head of Beijing Haidian District), He Jianwu (Director of the Industry Promotion Division II of the Zhongguancun Science City Management Committee), Zhu Ping (General Manager of Beijing Zhongguancun Science City Ltd.), and Shan Pengyang (from Beijing Haidian District People's Government) visited SEETRUM accompanied by Dr. Wang Yu, the co-founder and CEO of SEETRUN and they had discussions and exchanges together.

Deputy Head Lin Jianhua and his team visited the Optical Lab of SEETRUN and Dr. Xusheng Cai, the Co-founder and R&D scientist of SEETRUM, demonstrated the working scene of the GS0226 hyperspectral sensor chip and GI3307 multispectral imaging chip. The two chips are based on the transformation of cutting-edge technologies of the Micro-Nano Optoelectronics Laboratory of Tsinghua University. They have the advantages of high precision, low cost, and mass production. In the future, they can be widely used in smart phones, machine vision and other fields. At the same time, based on mature CMOS technology, they can be mass-produced with low cost. They can expand in different wavelength bands such as ultraviolet, visible light, near-infrared and mid-to-far infrared, and have multiple detection specifications of multi-spectrum, hyper-spectrum and hyper-spectrum.

After the visit, the two parties had some discussions and exchanges. Deputy Head Lin Jianhua and his team had an in-depth understanding of the operation status and development needs of SEETRUM. Lin Jianhua highly affirmed the technological leadership of SEETRUM and emphasized that the spectrum chip technology should be applied to more industries to benefit the society.
