Seetrum Full-Stack Multispectral Imaging Application Solution – Defining New Colors for Intelligent Imaging

As imaging technology enters the era of refinement, precision in color reproduction and stability for multi-scenario adaptation have become core competitiveness for imaging capabilities of intelligent hardware. Rooted in the multispectral imaging field, Seetrum Technology has developed a full-stack multispectral imaging solution covering core sensors, module R&D, algorithm models, and calibration systems based on independently innovated computational spectroscopy technology. With technological advantages of high performance, low power consumption, and strong compatibility, this solution injects new color vitality into intelligent imaging devices such as smartphones and action cameras.

Seetrum Technology’s consumer-grade multispectral imaging chips cover the core wavelength range of 380~960nm, with up to 12 physical channels. Equipped with the advanced Stacked BSI pixel structure, the chips achieve 60fps high-frame-rate operation at specifications of 0.5 to 1.3 megapixels, with power consumption as low as 15mW. While balancing high performance and low power consumption, they perfectly fit the slim, lightweight, and long-battery-life design requirements of smartphones, action cameras, and other devices.

In terms of core algorithms and applications, Seetrum Technology has built a full-process solution from spectral data collection, spectral reconstruction, automatic white balance to imaging effect optimization. The self-developed multispectral global automatic white balance algorithm can accurately deduce key indicators such as light source spectrum, type, and correlated color temperature, realizing dual-mode output of non-color adaptation and color adaptation. Paired with a one-click restoration rendering demonstration tool, it makes imaging effect evaluation more intuitive and efficient. In full-scenario tests including indoor, outdoor, multi-light source, and solid-color background, Seetrum Technology’s solution greatly optimizes the color deviation of native device imaging, with imaging effects highly consistent with the ideal benchmark, and effectively solves the industry problem of color consistency across multiple cameras.
Targeting the industry pain points of multispectral sensor production technology and consistency, Seetrum Technology has innovatively launched a calibration large model to improve spectral consistency, successfully breaking through technical bottlenecks of high-dimensional spectral data characterization and high-index adaptation for low-end processes. The self-developed calibration algorithm has strong generalization ability. Field tests show that the optimization ratio of spectral and correlated color temperature calibration performance for 1,092 modules exceeds 83%, up to 90%, achieving dual improvement in product yield and production efficiency. Meanwhile, the company has built a full-process calibration system with local + cloud collaboration, covering all links of module production, ensuring the performance consistency of every device with standardized and intelligent calibration solutions.

Vision China 2026 (Shanghai) was successfully held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from March 25 to 27, 2026, serving as an important platform for extensive exchanges and cooperation among machine vision enterprises. At this exhibition, Seetrum Technology exhibited a variety of innovative product solutions including area array multispectral color measurement system, snapshot multispectral imaging camera, miniature spectrometer, and light-color adaptive dimming component, and detailed the landing application scenarios and actual effects of products in printing and dyeing color difference detection, smart lighting, consumer electronics and other fields to visiting customers on site.
